Responsibilities
Work collaboratively with an attorney and other team members to progress cases efficiently from intake to resolution
Communicate with clients empathically and with compassion
Communicate professionally with adjusters, counsel, courts, experts, and others
Draft correspondence, pleadings, and discovery
Analyze, organize, and redact documents for production
Analyze and summarize medical records
E-filing with courts
Gather evidence
Schedule depositions
Manage multiple deadlines and tasks
Assist with mediation and/or trial preparation
Ensure overall organization of case files in Filevine
Various other duties as they arise
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 2 years of personal injury experience
Experience in litigation and pre-litigation cases
Detail-oriented
Organized
Exceptional communicator
Professional writing, communication, and organizational skills
Strong time management skills
Attention to detail
Ability to think critically and analytically
Flexibility and ability to work well under pressure and deadlines
Well-versed with terminology and issues in personal injury claims including motor vehicle accidents and premises liability claims
Knowledge and ability to function in MS Office products
Bachelor's Degree
Preferred
Experience at a plaintiff's firm
Experience working on the defense side
