Responsibilities
Design and build distributed services that are performant and maintainable
Own projects end-to-end, from design to deployment and monitoring
Collaborate with ML engineers, product managers, and infrastructure teams
Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical deep dives
Contribute to team standards and continuously improve system reliability and performance
Qualification
Required
3+ years of professional software development experience
Experience building and operating backend systems or distributed services
Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java
Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design
Preferred
Experience working with machine learning pipelines or AI infrastructure
Familiarity with cloud-native systems (e.g. Kubernetes, serverless, event-driven architectures)
Ability to take a problem from design through to production independently
Prior experience mentoring junior engineers or leading small technical efforts
