Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of the daily warehouse operations, with the safety of team members and the quality and efficiency of the operation being priorities
Develops positive relationships with internal constituents & support teams including Human Resources, Finance, Logistics, Quality, Production, Maintenance, Sanitation, Inventory Control, Planning, & Facilities
Builds an empowered, engaged, and high performing team by hiring top talent and developing people. A coach and mentor who seeks to share knowledge and grow talent across the organization
Provide training and coaching on job skills, safety policies, rules and regulations, as well as other company policies and sanitation standards- Inspires and motivates the team
Using our M3 ERP/WMS system, accurately tracks incoming and outbound transactions, as well as material movements throughout the facility
Ensures that the team complies with GMP and HACCP guidelines to ensure food safety, food quality and customer specifications. Partners with Quality to ensure compliance to SQF guidelines
Effectively handles all emergencies and reports incidents to appropriate personnel. Investigates immediately and utilizes support services (HR, Safety, Quality)
Provides coordination and leadership during Year-End inventory activities

Required

Bachelors degree in Management or another related field
Minimum 3-5 years of similar management experience, with 8 to 10-years experience in a manufacturing/warehouse, preferably within the food manufacturing industry

Deep knowledge and demonstrated success driving lean principles to achieve strong results
Demonstrated ability to hire top talent and build talented, engaged, and high performing teams
Demonstrated knowledge and experience on safety best practices and regulations
Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal and organization skills; and, demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships
Demonstrated ability to influence people, including building high levels of trust and commitment
Exceptional performance and record of achievement demonstrating leadership capabilities
Good working knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and ERP systems
