New GradDenver Water is a utility company providing water services and legal support through its Office of General Counsel. The Summer Law Clerk will assist with legal research, writing, and may participate in various legal proceedings and meetings.

Responsibilities
May be called upon to answer questions involving any of the areas of law
They’ll write responses to attorneys which may take the form of a memorandum, correspondence, a portion of a brief, response to discovery, or other documents
Law clerks may attend meetings with clients, depositions, hearings, trials and meetings of the Board of Water Commissioners
Qualification
Required
Must submit a cover letter, resume, and writing sample, all in one document
Interns are expected to work in-person at least two days per week
Full-time availability: approximately 40 hours per week
Attention to detail
Ability/desire to work independently
Good communications skills
Proficient in legal research and writing
