Responsibilities
Test, adjust, and balance (TAB) air and water (hydronic) HVAC systems to meet design specifications
Inspect systems to verify compliance with project plans and identify performance issues
Read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, control schematics, and equipment data
Accurately document all testing, adjusting, and balancing activities using project-specific reporting procedures
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required
Strong math skills, including calculations related to air and water (hydronic) balancing
Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, technical documents, and Statements of Work (SOWs)
Ability to work independently with attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
Preferred
NEBB or AABC certification preferred, but not required
