This key leadership position focuses on ensuring exceptional, patient-centered palliative care for individuals with serious and chronic illnesses while maintaining a partial clinical caseload.

Responsibilities
Lead, support, and mentor the APP team across assigned regions
Serve as the primary clinical resource for APPs, assisting with complex cases, workflow issues, and professional development
Conduct regular check-ins, competency assessments, and performance reviews
Oversee onboarding, training, and continued education for new and existing APPs
Collaborate with the Medical Director and interdisciplinary team to maintain consistent, high-quality palliative care practices
Manage scheduling, productivity monitoring, and documentation compliance
Support development of protocols, quality initiatives, and best practices
Maintain a partial clinical caseload focused on palliative care, symptom management, and goals-of-care conversations
Qualification
Required
Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in New Jersey
Minimum 5+ years of palliative care experience required
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Ability to mentor, support, and engage clinical staff
Commitment to empathetic, patient- and family-centered care
Preferred
Leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
