Facilities Engineer

They are seeking a Facilities Engineer to manage maintenance needs for their properties, focusing on general repairs and upkeep of facilities. Responsibilities
Completes assigned tasks in a timely manner
Maintains regular and consistent attendance, including being available for occasional on-call rotation/after-hours schedule
Assists with move-in and move-out procedures including all required City and other inspections
Ensures all company maintenance policies and procedures are followed
Provides excellent customer service and always represents City Care in a professional manner
Supports and maintains a positive and inclusive work environment
Qualification
Required
Ability to respond with sensitivity to diverse situations
Light HVAC, plumbing, electrical knowledge
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Good time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work independently, prioritize duties, manage time efficiently, and multi-task
Ability to use email, text, online calendar and online property management software to obtain maintenance requests
Must have basic personal tool set
High School Diploma or equivalent
2+ years residential maintenance or related experience
Ability to stand, climb stairs/ladders and walk property regularly
Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch to complete daily tasks
Must have the ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs
This position requires rotating on-call weeks for maintenance needs, which will include weekends and evenings
Preferred
2+ years of experience in multifamily property management preferred
