Sub Assembly Group Lead (2nd Shift) - Rolling Stock

Responsibilities
Help Production supervisor define key production work steps, sequences, and durations and setting up work scope per station or per cell basis
Assist preparing Standardized work instructions
Coordinating work schedules with operational goals
Implementing manufacturing improvements, complex process changes, and technology changes
Providing critical process control guidance to production, maintenance, and quality control to improve the dimensional accuracy and overall quality of our products
Ensuring all safety measure are followed
Escalate issues to manager or appropriate support group
Qualification
Required
Prior experience leading a team
Prior Siemens Mobility sub-assembly experience
Experience prototyping new assemblies
You've used SAP or ERP similar software to look up the information like drawings & BOM
Candidates should be comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment when required
Job duties may require standing, walking, sitting, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and using hands to handle objects or tools
Frequent verbal communication is necessary; occasional tasks may involve detecting odors
Ability to lift and/or move items up to 40 pounds is required
Specific vision abilities include: Close and distance vision, Color differentiation, Peripheral vision, Depth perception, Ability to adjust focus
