Responsibilities
Efficiently supervise and coordinate patient scheduling for necessary dental appointments
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using Open Dental software
Provide quality service through welcoming, clear, and effective verbal and written communication with patients
Perform various administrative tasks to support office operations and performance efficiency
Accurately verify patient insurance information, file appropriate claims and attachments, as well as promptly manage billing inquiries
Adhere and uphold the highest standards of compliance within HIPAA regulations
Qualification
Required

A keen desire to learn and grow in the profession
Prior comparable experience in dental scheduling or front office staff workplace
Familiarity with dental or healthcare terminology and proper appointment scheduling
Prior exposure to Open Dental Software or willingness to undergo ongoing training with the software
Quality patient communication and customer service to ensure each patient feels at home within the practice, creating a sense of trust and satisfaction
Prior experience in working with Microsoft Office Programs, gathering, and filing essential patient and office information
Prior experience of insurance verification processes, specifically dental and medical insurances, claims processing, billing, etc
Preferred
Experience in healthcare related field is welcomed
