Responsibilities
Enter donation information into database, process online donations and credit card payments
Create timely and accurate acknowledgements for donations, event payments. Will also process annual acknowledgements for payroll donors, monthly donors, offering donors, and executive staff
Assist with creating mailing lists using DonorPerfect, MatrixCare, and Eldermark information. Will assist to make direct mail letter content and bulk email promotion
Run mailing lists for events, direct mail appeals and other efforts
Qualification
Required
Applicants for this position must qualify for federal or state work study
This position is off-campus and student employees must provide their own transportation to the site
Ability to enter data accurately
Comprehensive computer skills, including using spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel
High level of integrity and excellent judgment handling sensitive and confidential information; be willing to sign a confidentiality agreement
A desire to be part of an organization that enriches the lives of older adults
To be eligible for student employment, St. Thomas students must be degree seeking at the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels
Students must be actively enrolled at least part-time in courses for credit
