Responsibilities
Prepare and test raw, in-process, and finished product samples
Document results and follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs)
Review test results and manage product holds/releases
Perform bacterial identifications, pipetting, and maintain the lab database
Sterilize biohazards and handle sample pickups
Support lab quality control and equipment checks
Follow GMPs and report any safety or quality concerns
Attend safety meetings and comply with all safety policies
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Flexible schedule (open to working weekends)
Must wear PPE (hair nets, earplugs, earmuffs)
Occasional bending, standing, stooping, pushing, pulling
Frequent sitting and can lift up to 50 lbs
Exposure to temperature/humidity changes
Experience with loud and wet areas in a large manufacturing plant
Associate's degree is required
Preferred
Strong multitasking and learning ability
Comfortable working with diverse personalities
Good communication and basic math skills
Detail-oriented and organized
Bachelor's degree is preferred
