Responsibilities
Apply knowledge of dimensional testing and manufacturing processes to evaluate product quality
Review vendor documentation—including Material Test Reports—to verify compliance with engineering specifications
Perform visual and dimensional inspections of manufactured components using standard inspection equipment
Utilize inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, hard gauges, profilometers, optical comparators, and micro‐hite systems
Identify, document, and report non‐conformances for technical authority review and disposition
Initiate change requests to Engineering when design‐for‐manufacturability concerns are identified
Collaborate with internal functional groups to address and resolve Quality Control–related issues
Interface with customers, third‐party representatives, and certifying authorities as required
Participate actively in Continuous Improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
5 years of related experience in quality control, inspection, or manufacturing
Strong knowledge of dimensional testing, manufacturing processes, and product functionality
Detail‐oriented, technically skilled, and comfortable collaborating across multiple functional groups
Strong product knowledge and understanding of engineering documentation
Proficiency with dimensional inspection tools and measurement techniques
Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and Material Test Reports
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross‐functional teams
Detail‐oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and quality
