Performance Marketing Manager
Confidential company is seeking an experienced Lead Acquisition professional to refine their lead purchasing strategy. The role focuses on optimizing spend, elevating lead quality, and collaborating with various teams to drive measurable impact across the organization.

Responsibilities
Own and optimize a $5-10M+ department budget and annual lead acquisition strategy, driving revenue growth by balancing cost, quality, and conversion
Develop and execute a data‑driven lead purchasing plan, analyzing performance trends, conversion metrics, and ROI to continually refine spend and improve results
Build and manage strong vendor partnerships, negotiating pricing, monitoring lead quality, and ensuring top performance from industry lead aggregators
Partner cross‑functionally with Business Development, Sales, Credit Risk Underwriting, Data Science, and Technology teams to integrate lead data, streamline feedback loops, enhance reporting accuracy, and support sales productivity
Identify emerging opportunities by evaluating new lead sources, industry trends, and competitive shifts in the market
Qualification
Required
Direct experience with lead acquisition in the financial services or consumer‑finance industry
Expertise working with large lead aggregators and a solid understanding of pricing models, pricing logic, and factors that influence lead traffic quality
A data‑driven mindset with the ability to connect performance metrics to sales conversion and revenue outcomes
Strong vendor‑management, relationship‑building, and negotiation skills that balance cost, quality, and volume
A collaborative approach, partnering seamlessly with Business Development, Sales, Credit Risk Underwriting, Data Science, and Technology teams
High attention to detail — especially when managing budgets, contracts, and performance dashboards
5+ years in lead purchasing, lead generation marketing, lead sales, or performance marketing
Proven experience negotiating with or working for lead aggregators or high‑volume lead providers
Experience leveraging Tableau, PowerBI, and advanced Excel for data visualization, reporting, and analysis (Power Query, complex formulas, pivot tables, dashboards)
Strong analytical skills and knowledge of statistics and standard analytical research methods, processes, and procedures
Demonstrated ability to balance spend strategy, quality control, and conversion optimization
Preferred
Financial services industry experience a strong plus
Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Statistics, Marketing, Business, or a related field a strong plus
