Responsibilities
Assists Cybersecurity analysts in and learns about security monitoring, hunting for cyber threats, and assessing cyber vulnerabilities
Qualification
Required
Completion of High School Diploma or GED, or ability to complete GED within 12 months
For roles that require travel, a valid driver's license or the ability to travel within the Intermountain system. (Position may often require individual to travel between facilities to provide support)
Awareness of Cybersecurity methods and techniques of information systems
Preferred
CompTIA A+ type skills
General understanding of computer/network administration practices
Preferred onsite work in the Security Operations Center
Having or pursuing a CompTIA Security+
Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
GIAC Certified Penetration Tester
GSEC: SANS GIAC Security Essentials
ISACA CSX Cybersecurity Fundamentals
Basic understanding of cybersecurity detection and incident response methodologies
Experience in a SOC or CSIRT team is a plus
