New GradHunt Electric, Inc. is seeking a full-time DAS Technology Apprentice to join their team within the distributed antenna system (DAS) Technology Division. The role is an entry-level position focused on learning and executing basic coaxial and structured cabling principles under supervision, while ensuring project execution meets safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities
Install coaxial, UTP, and fiber-optic cables throughout new and existing buildings
Install DAS, Small Cell, and wired and wireless network devices under the supervision of the project foreman
Install equipment racks in telecom closets
Assist with orienting antennas and system components based on engineered design
Work on rooftops installing, replacing, and repairing antenna systems, cabling, and equipment
Perform maintenance & troubleshooting, under supervision
Assist with completing connectivity and quality testing for coaxial, UTP, and fiber-optic cables
Use and maintain hand tools, specialty tools, and mechanical equipment
Follow instructions accurately and complete assigned course of action
Recognize safety hazards and perform duties in a safe manner
Report to work on time
Occasional travel. ~25% or less
Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager
Qualification
Required
Knowledge of general construction and the use of hand and some power tools
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Great Customer service and communication skills
Have a desire to progress in Information Technology Systems Division (ITS)
Ability to work in a team environment
Valid Drivers License and a Clean background
