Quality Technician
Custom Wire Technologies (CWT) is a leading OEM medical component manufacturer, with over 50 years of industry experience. They are seeking a skilled Quality Technician to support quality control processes, ensuring products meet specifications and standards through inspections and documentation.

Responsibilities
Perform inspections of incoming materials, first piece, in-process production, and finished parts to ensure compliance with specifications & complete all required records and paperwork to include inspection reports
Aide in development of quality and inspection plans from design drawings meeting company requirements for ISO 13485
Program and operate Vision System inspection machines. Utilize tools such as calipers, micrometers, rulers, gauges
Ability to analyze and interpret blueprints
Determine gauge and fixture requirements
Analyze quality data, identify problem areas, and assist in resolving manufacturing processes or methods that affect quality
Assist the organization in enforcing the Quality System and maintain consistent standards
Support internal and external audits as needed
Identify Corrective and Preventative Actions
Assist in development and implementation of procedures and controls to promote efficient lean operations of the organization and ensure the groups follow those procedures and controls
Conduct one-on-one training of quality procedures
Recognize, report, and correct errors
Regular physical attendance is required
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
3+ years related quality experience, prior manufacturing experience
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Strong understanding of quality control standards and methodologies
Proficient in using inspection tools and ability to read and interpret technical drawings/blueprints
Ability to develop & write work instructions
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Strong mathematical skills
Proficient computer skills and experience with MS Office
Preferred
Quality Certificate or Associates degree in Quality
Keyence, Micro Vu experience
Prior quality experience with medical device
Experience working in a job shop manufacturing environment
