Purchasing Assistant
Gracepoint Homes is dedicated to creating exceptional living experiences by building high-quality homes. The Purchasing Assistant will support procurement activities, manage purchase orders, assist with vendor communication, and ensure accurate and timely purchases.
Responsibilities
Supporting procurement activities
Managing purchase orders
Assisting with vendor communication
Ensuring accurate and timely purchases
Coordinating with suppliers
Maintaining procurement records
Verifying order details
Addressing any discrepancies
Collaborating with other team members to streamline purchasing processes
Ensuring operational efficiency
Qualification
Required
Knowledge and experience in Purchasing Processes, Purchase Orders, and Purchasing
Proficient understanding of Procurement and the ability to manage vendor relationships effectively
Strong Communication skills to interact with team members and suppliers efficiently
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills
Proficiency in relevant software and systems used for purchasing and procurement
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Prior experience in a purchasing or procurement role, particularly in construction or homebuilding
