Responsibilities
Handle inbound and outbound phone calls with subscribers, delivering a responsive, high-quality experience
Manage escalated customer inquiries with professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail
Provide clear, accurate information about our publications, services, and account options
Track and document customer interactions to identify patterns and share actionable insights
Collaborate with editors, marketing, and product teams to stay informed on new offerings and evolving customer needs
Contribute to the customer knowledge base by documenting common issues and solutions
Support and mentor Tier I specialists by modeling best practices in communication and problem-solving
Qualification
Required
1–2 years of experience in customer service or technical support
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first mindset
A proactive, solutions-oriented approach and the ability to stay composed under pressure
The drive to thrive in a fast-paced environment while working both independently and collaboratively
Eagerness to learn, grow, and be coached
