Responsibilities
Architect, design, and lead the development of resilient, scalable, and secure software to power enterprise-level Kubernetes experiences on Oracle Cloud
Take ownership of major feature areas and critical services, ensuring technical excellence across design, implementation, testing, and operational readiness
Drive engineering innovation and best practices in Kubernetes, containers, and cloud-native technologies throughout the organization
Mentor and guide the growth of other engineers, actively contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team culture
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, operations, and security teams to ensure solutions align with business and customer objectives
Lead technical deep-dives, root-cause analysis, and contribute to the operational excellence of our services at scale
Evaluate, propose, and implement new tools, automation, and processes that elevate service availability, reliability, and performance
Engage with the open source community and industry partners, staying at the forefront of developments in Kubernetes and the broader CNCF ecosystem
Qualification
Required

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
