Responsibilities
Implement, support, and maintain Epic EMR integrations for test ordering, results delivery, and data exchange
Serve as a technical partner to Epic Application Analysts during customer onboarding and ongoing support
Monitor and maintain data quality across interfaces, proactively identifying and resolving data issues
Troubleshoot interface errors using logs, monitoring tools, and database queries
Collaborate with engineering and informatics teams to streamline integration workflows and improve automation
Develop and maintain internal documentation, SOPs, and integration guides
Contribute to Baylor Genetics’ digital health and interoperability roadmap
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in health information technology, computer science, biomedical informatics, healthcare administration, or a related field required
5+ years of experience in healthcare data integration, health IT, or interoperability
Experience supporting EMR integrations, preferably in a laboratory or diagnostics environment
Experience working with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
Strong understanding of healthcare interoperability and clinical data workflows
Proficiency in SQL for data validation and troubleshooting
Experience with APIs and interface monitoring tools
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
