Qualification
Required
A minimum of 5 years of work experience in software engineering
At least 3 years of experience with one or more of the following technologies: Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with cloud-based solutions
Familiarity with emerging AI technologies and their applications in software development
Preferred
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Excellent collaboration and teamwork abilities
Proven execution and delivery skills, including planning, delivering, and supporting projects
Experience with microservices and serverless architectures
Familiarity with open-source frameworks
Knowledge of Agile methodologies
Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and deploying microservices-based applications, ensuring they are scalable and maintainable
Strong expertise in building server-side applications using Node.js and TypeScript, with a solid understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture
Proficiency in testing frameworks and methodologies, ensuring code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews
Hands-on experience with various relational and non-relational databases, such as PostgreSQL, Redis, OpenSearch, and MongoDB along with a strong understanding of data modeling and query optimization
Ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience with event-driven services and architectures, including the use of message brokers and event streaming platforms
Familiarity with Agile development practices, including Scrum and Kanban, with a track record of participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
A proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative environment and contributing to team success
Experience with the Express framework for building RESTful APIs, including middleware implementation and routing
Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their services, particularly in relation to deploying and managing microservices, especially on AWS
