HR Workforce Planning Specialist

They are seeking an experienced Workforce Planning Specialist to partner with agency human resources staff and senior leaders in managing recruitment, selection processes, and HR policies while supporting workforce planning initiatives.
Government Administration
Responsibilities
Partner with agency human resources staff and senior leaders to aid in the administration of its program
Collaborate with department agencies to manage the countywide recruitment and selection process
Ensure HRIS data integrity and reporting analytic activities
Provide advice and guidance on the recruitment and selection process, the classification of positions, HR policies and procedures, employment laws, and best HR practices
Manage full-cycle recruitment and selection process including utilizing the applicant tracking system (Neogov), reviewing job requisitions, posting advertisements, managing vacancies, screening and certifying applications, serving on interview panels, reviewing background check results, and approving personnel actions
Support classification and compensation services including assisting with salary offers, completing equity analyses, and reviewing and analyzing new and existing positions
Manage HR reports and data within the County’s Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
Identify potential issues and facilitate solutions to address workforce planning issues
Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and local human resources legislation and identify recruiting trends and best practices to enhance the talent acquisition function
Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain talent for critical positions in the County
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
two (2) years of related work experience in HR field
equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrated experience utilizing creativity and innovative ideas to attract talent
possess strong interpersonal skills

be a strong collaborator

develop solutions and facilitate problem solving
be able to build strong relationships with your HR team, County agencies, and external groups
Preferred
Experience in the public sector
PHR or SHRM-CP certification
