VSE Aviation is seeking an Ignition Exciter Technician I who will perform maintenance and alteration tasks on civil aviation articles. The role involves ensuring compliance with technical data and performing functional tests on Ignition Exciters.

Responsibilities

Complete review of component work order to ensure proper work scope is initiated

Perform functional test for all Ignition Exciters inducted

Disassemble electrical aircraft engine accessories with the use of hand tools and soldering stations

Remove foam potting with precision detail to prevent damage from detail piece parts within the component

Perform functional test for all Ignition Exciters inducted

Document maintenance records of all repair work orders performed

Remove identification and safety labels from components with use of a scraper/razor blade

Ensures up-to-date knowledge of all tools and proper use of equipment within assigned area of responsibility

Administer foam potting back into the components after they are assembled

Other duties as assigned
