Responsibilities
Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends, patterns, and insights
Apply statistical methods to analyze data, validate hypotheses, and support business decisions
Build, evaluate, and deploy machine learning models to solve business problems
Design and analyze experiments (e.g., A/B tests) to measure the impact of changes and new features
Develop robust, scalable, and automated data pipelines for data ingestion, processing, and transformation
Ensure data integrity, consistency, and availability for downstream analytics and modeling
Oversee the health and performance of existing data solutions and services
Design and implement automated monitoring and alerting for data pipelines, model performance, and service reliability
Ensure rapid detection and resolution of data or service anomalies
Participate in on-call rotations to ensure the reliability and availability of data solutions and services
Create clear, compelling visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders
Prepare reports and presentations to summarize analysis, model results, and recommendations
Work closely with stakeholders, engineers, and product teams to identify business challenges and opportunities
Translate business requirements into technical solutions using data science and machine learning
Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to inform short- and long-term business strategy
Advocate for best practices in data science, analytics, and model deployment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
Experience in data cleaning, pre-processing, exploratory data analysis (EDA), and statistical analysis
Proficiency in Python for data analysis, including experience with libraries such as pandas, NumPy, and matplotlib/seaborn
Strong experience with SQL and data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
Hands-on experience building, deploying, and maintaining data pipelines and machine learning models in production environments
Proficient with version control systems such as Git, including branching, committing, and pull requests
Experience designing and analyzing experiments (e.g., A/B testing) to measure impact and validate hypotheses
