Responsibilities
Work in a cross-disciplinary team with the goal of driving innovation of scalable processes related to the manufacture and use of nanoparticles and other reagents
Develop, optimize and validate new analytics to support our process development pipeline
Author, review, and hone our standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve quality and accelerate our development activities
Be actively involved in laboratory management including inventory management and supply chain responsibilities
Partner closely to provide manufacturing support to our research, assay development, downstream formulation, and engineering teams to achieve performance requirements
Manage multiple tasks and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Communicate effectively with peers and leadership to support decision-making, including summarizing results in reports and presentations
Contribute to departmental strategies and provide input on lab requirements and improvements
Qualification
Required
Sc or post-graduate degree in chemistry, biochemistry, bioengineering, or related field with 2 years of hands on laboratory experience
Experience with execution of experiments in a wet lab preferably in an industry setting
Ability to communicate results and concepts clearly to fellow scientists
Ability to handle a diverse workload
High learning agility
Preferred
GMP experience will be considered an asset
Experience with nanoparticle-based assay development and characterization will be considered an asset
