The Center for Justice Innovation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing community safety and racial justice. They are seeking a Senior Engagement Specialist to support a youth-led podcast initiative, which involves engaging youth, managing logistics, and ensuring consistent participation.

Responsibilities

Support the outreach, recruitment, and enrollment for the Podcast program

Schedule and conduct intakes for participants

Perform administrative duties for programming including but not limited to: attendance, payroll, and data collection using various online platforms

Lead discussions with youth to transform podcast concepts into fully produced episodes

Manage program logistics, including planning sessions, organizing resources and supporting day to day operations

Collaborate with the Center’s Communications team to make podcast episodes available for the public

Create social media content to promote the program

Plan and execute a culminating event for the program participants and the community

Attend all meetings including one on one supervision, team meeting and staff meetings

Participate in program site visits as necessary

Maintain strong relationships with community-based providers and organizations

Other relevant task as necessary

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent

Interest in working with youth and young adults
