Responsibilities
Install fire sprinkler systems in commercial, industrial, and residential settings, following blueprints and technical specifications
Perform maintenance and repairs to ensure system functionality and compliance
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with fire sprinkler components and systems
Conduct regular inspections and tests to verify system readiness and compliance with local, state, and national fire safety codes
Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, and repairs
Work closely with project managers, construction professionals, and team members to achieve project goals
Communicate effectively with clients and team members to address needs and ensure customer satisfaction
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience in fire sprinkler system installation, inspection, and maintenance
Physical ability to perform the job, including climbing, lifting, and working in various environments
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
Completed apprenticeship or formal training in fire sprinkler system installation
Strong understanding of fire safety codes and regulations
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Capable of working in diverse conditions and lifting equipment as needed
Preferred
Relevant certifications, such as NICET, are a plus
