Project Manager
Peraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence globally. They are seeking a Project Manager to oversee and implement projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while coordinating cross-functional teams and managing project economics.

Responsibilities
Plans, directs, and coordinates a cross-functional team's activities to manage and implement project and/or interrelated projects from contract/proposal initiation to final operational stage
Determines, monitors, and reviews all project/program economics to include costs, operational budgets, staffing requirements, sub-contractors, resources and risk
Coordinate internal resources and third parties support for the flawless execution of projects
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Identifies and assembles the appropriate blend of resources to meet project/program needs and requirements
Plans, schedules, monitors, and reports on activities related to the project/program
Leads the project/program team(s) in determining client requirements and translating requirements into operational plans
Facilitates status review meetings among project team members and clients
Controls project/program requirements, scope, and change management issues
Coaches and counsels members of cross-functional teams to accomplish project/program goals, to meet established schedules, and resolve technical/operational issues
Establishes appropriate metrics for measuring key program criteria
Determines and installs appropriate automated systems for management of projects
Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
Ensure resource availability and allocation
Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
Report and escalate project status, issues, risk, etc. to management as needed
Perform risk management (analysis, mitigation, etc.) to minimize project risks
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree and 5 years' experience or 9 years of experience with a HS Diploma
Experience managing infrastructure, data center, network, and software upgrade projects
Experience with project plans to monitor and track progress
Experience in MS Project, Excel, Word, Visio and/or other software tools
Experience in managing changes in project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
Must possess excellent communication (oral and written) skills, attention to detail, problem solving and excellent customer service skills
Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
Self-directed, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
Must be US Citizen
Must be able to obtain and maintain the required agency clearance
Preferred
Experience working with an IT Service provider supporting Government Agencies is a plus
PMP preferred
ITIL Foundation Level preferred
Knowledge of data center, network, cloud, and infrastructure terminology
Knowledge of project management methodologies and continuous improvement frameworks
Demonstrated ability to drive alignment across cross-functional teams in dynamic environments
