Responsibilities

Perform silicon bring‑up activities and execute validation plans based on defined specifications
Build automated test systems using pyvisa and GPIB to streamline equipment control and measurement flows
Optimize performance of analog front‑end and DSP blocks such as PLL, signal detector, CDR, CTLE, DFE, and FFE
Measure silicon performance through system‑level characterization including power characterization, BER characterization, and link‑up stress testing
Prepare application notes, user guidance, and other customer‑facing documentation to support successful product deployment
Reproduce customer‑reported failures, identify root causes, and coordinate with internal teams to drive resolution and product improvements
Debug critical product issues, propose design changes when necessary, and support firmware engineers across diverse customer platforms

Required

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field
Minimum 2 years of industry experience in roles involving silicon bring‑up, validation, and system‑level testing
Building automation systems for test equipment using pyvisa and GPIB to automate the equipment testing
Silicon bring up and validation based on set specifications
Optimizing block- level Analog front-end and DSP performance including PLL, signal detector, CDR, CTLE, DFE, and FFE characterization
Measuring silicon performance by generating system-level characterization, including power characterization, BER characterization and link up stress test
Generating application notes and other technical documentation that provides customers with information and guidance on how to use products effectively
Reproducing customers' failures, identifying root causes, and working with the customer and internal teams to resolve the issue and improve the product
Debugging critical issues, recommending any design changes, and supporting firmware engineers to fix issues on different customers' platforms
Handling PCIe electrical and protocol compliance test and characterization including jitter measurement, PLL bandwidth measurement, receiver jitter tolerance measurement, and receiver interference tolerance test measurement
