Responsibilities
Inspection, repair, and replacement of air brake components
Troubleshooting and repairing suspension assemblies
Steel/aluminum welding, cutting, and basic fabrication techniques
Repair and maintenance of chip trailers, dump trailers, lowboy trailers, flatbeds, and other equipment
Performing DOT inspections, lubrication, and safety checks
Diagnosing and repairing trailer lighting and wiring
Assisting with troubleshooting and repairs
Organizing trailers, ensuring a clean work environment, following safety protocols
Working alongside skilled technicians and service advisors to complete jobs efficiently
Qualification
Required
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
Regular standing, bending, kneeling, and working in various positions for extended periods
Working in both indoor and outdoor environments, sometimes in varying weather conditions
Ability to safely operate shop equipment and tools
Interest in hands-on mechanical work, problem-solving, and learning a skilled trade
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Dependability and ability to follow instructions
Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment
Team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills
Preferred
High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required)
