Responsibilities
Perform the methodical investigation, analysis, review, configuration and documentation of automated business functions and processes
Identify and define requirements for the use of technology to improve any aspect of the business processes and case management systems
Act as a liaison between the business units and ITD to create viable functional specifications and acceptance criteria in preparation for and support of the development and configuration of information systems
Implement standardized business workflow across the organization, document functional specifications, configuration, conversions, upgrades, interfaces, reports, forms and workflow
Work with Systems Analysts to translate business requirements into appropriate technical specifications
Identify, evaluate and define the impacts of changes and provide alternatives, including manual process changes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a related area
Minimum of 3 years of business systems analysis experience
Equivalent work experience may substitute for a degree
Knowledge and understanding of design and analysis processes
Technical writing skills producing clear and precise deliverables
Thorough understanding of IT processes and working within guidelines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to organize complex requirements
Quickly and effectively analyze problems
Manage multiple tasks effectively and efficiently
Perform tasks well with minimal supervision
