Digital Design Engineer

Responsibilities
Utilize electrical engineering and digital design skills to design complex high-speed integrated circuits, which include the following duties
Write microarchitecture and/or design specifications of sub-blocks designed for Credo’s high-speed communication Integrated Circuits (IC’s) including a description of the intended functions of the sub-block and inputs and outputs of the sub-block
Design, implement, and debug complex logic designs for Credo’s high speed communication IC’s
Develop testbenches and tests to verify complex verilog RTL Designs
Develop test benches and tests to verify Gate-Level Netlists
Integrate complex IPs used as building blocks for Credo’s high-speed communication IC’s
Support all front-end integration activities like Lint, CDC, Synthesis, and ECO Work with other ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) Design/Verification, DFT and Physical Design Engineers in the team
Collaborate with Credo’s Software/Firmware and systems teams to ensure a high-quality end product; and, Bring-up the Chips, debug and Validation in the Laboratory
Utilize the following tools and technologies to perform the above duties
Hardware Descriptive Languages such as Verilog or VHDL; Cadence Xcelium or Synopsys VCS Verification/Simulation tools or equivalent; Linux based systems; and automation and scripting languages like Python
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field of study
Demonstrated knowledge of Verilog/SystemVerilog and scripting languages such as Python
Demonstrated knowledge of Static Timing Analysis, VLSI Design, and Digital Design
Demonstrated knowledge of EDA tools such as Cadence Xcelium or NCSim, and Linux operating environments
