4+ years expHomegrown Companies is seeking a Mechanic Technician to assist in the repair and diagnosis of on-farm machinery. The role involves inspecting, troubleshooting, and performing maintenance on farm equipment under the direction of supervisors.
Farming
Responsibilities
Inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose issues on farm machinery, such as tractors, vehicles, harvesters, etc
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on all farm related equipment as instructed and or needed
Perform major repairs, fabrications and overhauls of equipment as required with direction and support from your supervisor and team members
Proficient and knowledgeable in the use of hand tools and power tools required to complete all tasks assigned
Complete required paperwork, such as daily reports, service/repair records, invoices, and time records in a timely manner
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Follow all safety and PPE guidelines
Responsible for the proper care and security of all tools used and or provided
The ability to professionally communicate with vendors to order and obtain parts and supplies as directed or needed
Qualification
Required
Bilingual – English/Spanish
High School Diploma
4-7 years of mechanical experience
Perform other duties as assigned by the needs of the business
Ability to present oneself with professional appearance and behavior in accordance to Employee Handbook Policies
Ability to meet all security requirements and/or pass a drug and alcohol test (security sensitive positions only)

Industry knowledge
Mechanic diesel certifications
Welding knowledge and certifications
