Responsibilities
Lead and guide a team of 2–3 AS400 developers, including mentoring offshore teams (2–4 members)
Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather and understand requirements
Design, develop, and configure applications to meet business needs
Perform coding, unit testing, and support deployment activities
Ensure timely completion of project milestones within an Agile delivery model
Promote effective collaboration in an onshore–offshore delivery environment
Demonstrate strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills
Qualification
Required
10+ years in AS400 development
Strong hands-on experience with RPGLE, COBOL, Synon, CLLE, ILE, and DB2
Minimum 8+ years in RPGLE, 6+ years in CLLE, COBOL, Synon, and 4+ years leading AS400 development teams
Expertise in modern AS400 tools and environments: Hawkeye, Aldon, RDi
Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies and project execution
Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Preferred
Domain experience in PBM and RxClaim is preferred
Hands-on experience with AS400_OS, DB2, System I – COBOL400, and Synon
