Responsibilities
Design and develop DSP firmware for products and IP, including microarchitecture
Implement DSP algorithms and flows; co-design interfaces with SDK
Collaborate with hardware engineers on system flow and integration
Work with application engineers to debug and resolve issues
Develop firmware for high-speed transceiver (SERDES IP) technology at Ethernet speeds of 100Gbps and 400Gbps, including optical fiber and data center SoC products
Utilize C-SDK and test scripts to validate module firmware performance and SerDes physical layer data
Create and maintain Python and C-based solutions for multi-rack networking systems across diverse channels (copper backplanes, optical interfaces)
Partner with Marketing and FAE teams to support initial field design-ins, assist customers with system design, and identify opportunities for Credo products
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
10+ years of experience in firmware development or related areas
Strong proficiency in C and Python
Solid understanding of computer architecture and operating systems
Excellent debugging and data analysis skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred
Expertise in DSP, high-speed Ethernet protocols, or SerDes technology
Familiarity with semiconductor design, validation, and manufacturing processes
Experience with high-speed interfaces, analog/mixed-signal design, or optical systems
