Responsibilities
Respond to Tier 1–Tier 3 network support requests
Communicate effectively with teammates and customers with varying levels of technical expertise
Respond to all break/fix requests related to network resources
Design extensions to the campus network and define connection requirements
Configure and deploy new or replacement network hardware and communications infrastructure
Maintain up‑to‑date project and architecture documentation
Maintain accurate inventory and maintenance records
Monitor network resources for faults, performance issues, and traffic anomalies
Resolve connectivity issues between users and network resources
Maintain detailed change history of all network modifications
Support field maintenance teams with communications implementation and troubleshooting
Contribute to cybersecurity control improvements and defensive measures
Support threat hunting and mitigation activities
Manage time and resource constraints effectively to meet operational needs
Qualification
Required
Experience supporting Tier 1–Tier 3 network issues
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve break/fix network incidents
Experience designing campus network extensions and connectivity solutions
Proficiency configuring and deploying network hardware and communications infrastructure
Strong documentation skills for project, architecture, inventory, and maintenance records
Experience monitoring network environments for faults and anomalies
Strong troubleshooting skills for user‑to‑resource network connectivity
Ability to maintain detailed documentation of network changes
Experience supporting field maintenance teams with communications challenges
Understanding of cybersecurity practices and threat mitigation techniques
Strong communication skills for working with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Ability to work efficiently under time and resource constraints
