Responsibilities

Lead the sourcing, selection, contract negotiation and management of one or more suppliers in alignment with the overarching supply chain strategy
Ensure a competitive sourcing environment leading to continuous improvement in engineering and logistics services, delivery, cost, quality, inventory mgt, capacity/flexibility, business and contract mgt, and social responsibility
Lead the commercial and contractual aspects of the relationship and drive multifunctional teams relative to suppliers’ involvement
Lead the supplier performance management and cross-functional recurrent business reviews
Actively engage with Product Development teams, Engineering, Internal Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, Finance, Tech Deployment, Worldwide Operations and other Supply Chain Team like Procurement, Sourcing, and Logistics in different product lines to achieve the programmatic objectives
Collaborate with engineering, and program teams in different stages of product development heavy emphasis on new product introduction (NPI) to scale global deployment
Supplier Management & Performance: The Business Manager must navigate complex dynamics between FTR and suppliers, ensuring top performance while fostering collaborative, long-term relationships that benefit both organizations
Technical Expertise: They need a strong understanding of supplier capabilities, Fulfillment and Robotics technologies, as well as manufacturing, assembly, and integration methodologies to drive continuous improvement
Negotiation Skills: The role involves leading all commercial negotiations with suppliers, securing competitive contracts and favorable terms, and knowing when to address issues or drive changes
Contract Management: Ensuring suppliers adhere to contracts, renegotiating for better terms, and safeguarding Amazon’s bottom line in terms of IP, indemnity, and confidentiality
Financial Management: Managing business relationships, contracts, pricing, and claims while maintaining effective negotiation strategies
Relationship Building: Engaging and influencing both suppliers and FTR stakeholders at various organizational levels, often under pressure, to ensure strong business cases and maintain a high executive presence

Required

5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
5+ years of professional or military experience
5+ years of working with Core Cloud Technology Services, including, but not limited to Compute, Edge, Hybrid, Security, and/or Networking experience
5+ years of working with Business Application Technologies, including, but not limited to End User Compute (EUC), Supply Chain, Contact Center as a Service, Consumer Data Applications, Encrypted Communications, and/or Communication Developer Services experience
5+ years of solving problems with technology in the Healthcare/Life Sciences Industry experience
5+ years of solving problems with technology in the Media & Entertainment Industry experience
5+ years of solving problems with technology in the Global Financial Services Industry experience
5+ years of solving problems with technology in the Telecommunications industry experience
5+ years of solving problems with technology in the Automotive & Manufacturing industries experience
5+ years of solving problems with technology in the Energy & Utilities industries experience
5+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience
5+ years of working with Advanced Compute technologies including, but not limited to: Accelerated Compute, High Performance Compute, Visual/Spatial Compute, and/or IoT. experience
5+ years of working with Enterprise Application Modernization and Migration technologies, including, but not limited to, Mainframe, Serverless, Containers, or Cloud Operations experience
5+ years of working with Data & AI related technologies, including, but not limited to, AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage experience
Bachelor's degree
Knowledge of publisher ad tech stacks and/or advertising technology
Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Experience selling enterprise software or cloud-based applications
Experience explaining complex technical concepts to various business and technical audiences
Experience presenting to both technical and non-technical executive audiences

Preferred

Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
