Responsibilities
Performing essential maintenance tasks at a sub-journey level
Upkeep of all park facilities, vehicles, equipment, and infrastructure
Assisting in various trades, including carpentry, plumbing, heating, mechanical work, masonry, electrical tasks, welding, and landscaping
Operating tractors, dump trucks, pickup trucks, and various motorized turf maintenance equipment, as well as chainsaws and trimmers
Providing assistance to park visitors and clarifying park rules and regulations
Participating in a safety program by regularly reviewing safety procedures
Conducting the annual inventory of supplies, fuels, equipment, and tools, and preparing the necessary reports
Acting as a lead worker for Semi-Skilled Laborers during project execution
Qualification
Required
Two years of experience in general maintenance work which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities
You must possess a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License
You must meet the PA residency requirement
You must be able to perform essential job functions
