Responsibilities
Research and resolve complex Accounts Receivable (AR) reconciliation issues, including credits and unapplied cash
Analyze customer account activity to determine proper account disposition and resolution
Review AR aging reports and support reserve and bad debt analysis
Prepare and submit monthly journal entries and support funds management–related billing
Monitor AR inquiries and billing workflows, including dunning exceptions and backup support for billing
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum of 4 years of relevant accounting or AR experience, including at least 2 years at a senior analyst, accounting, or audit level
Experience supporting AR, reconciliations, and financial reporting in public sector, financial services, real estate, or similar environments
Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
Preferred
CPA, CGFM, CMA, or CIA certification preferred
