Diplomatic Language Services (DLS) is a dynamic organization that has been providing foreign language training since 1986. They are seeking a part-time Program Manager to support their Mobile Training Teams program, focusing on classroom observations and student progress.

Responsibilities

Meet with instructor(s) weekly to discuss student progress, program needs, and logistical issues
Counsel students on learning strategies, test taking skills, and study
Analyze, with instructor, student strengths and weaknesses
Supports instructors to create progress reports and action plans for each student
Reviews, quality controls, and submits progress reports
Provide instructors with comprehensive 1-1 training as needed
Motivate students to excel and inform DLI of any potential areas of weakness
Observe instructors in person or online once/month to provide constructive feedback to the instructor and preemptively flag any student issues
Write and submit observation reports for each course
Coordinate and support (as needed) the travel coordinator for the project
Coordinate with client and DLS HR team to ensure that security paperwork is submitted in a timely manner
Report weekly on student progress and instructional quality to DLS management team
Attend client meetings as needed
Act as overall point of contact for all parties involved, including DLS management, client, instructors, and students

Required

Bachelor's degree or higher in any field
2 years of language teaching or testing experience required
Knowledge of the ILR scale, DLPT and OPI
Strong ability to multi-task and detailed-oriented
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required

Preferred

2 years of program or project coordination experience preferred
Comfort with technology and ability to troubleshoot tech-related issues preferred
Speaker of Chinese preferred
Client management experience preferred
