Responsibilities
Resolve procurement and purchasing related issues
Assist in editing purchase orders to ensure the Accounts Payable Department can remit payment to vendors without delay
Process purchasing orders and invoices
Verify the accuracy and completion of purchase requisitions
Process purchase orders in MAGIC
Assist in the process of numerous requisitions received from all statewide prison facilities
Maintain files and communicate with vendors and MDOC staff
Qualification
Required
Excellent organization skills
Excellent communication skills
Excellent time management skills
Preferred
Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree
2-4 years of experience
Preferably MAGIC and purchasing experience
