Responsibilities
Consult with business analysts, architects, and team members during project planning activities
Monitor project milestones, identify schedule risks, recommend resolutions, and communicate progress to leadership
Lead technical evaluation and selection of software or middleware solutions and support training for selected tools
Estimate work effort, assign tasks, and provide direction to team members when acting as project lead
Communicate with analysts, QA, project owners, and stakeholders regarding project status and issues
Provide input for buy‑vs‑build decisions and evaluate custom, open‑source, or COTS alternatives
Analyse existing applications to identify weaknesses and recommend improvements or modernization opportunities
Identify, document, and communicate business or technical requirements and translate them into technical designs
Recommend procedures for solving complex problems based on system constraints and integration needs
Create and implement conversion, upgrade, and migration designs and ensure timely application of patches and certificates
Assist with documenting and demonstrating appropriate use of repositories and development resources
Develop specifications for applications and recommend approaches for new development or reuse of existing components
Support architects with technical specifications, tool adoption, prototyping, and communication of technical decisions
Provide technical leadership for the design, development, and modification of application modules using disciplined development processes
Work with web platforms, content management, and modern UI/UX principles including mobile‑first and user‑first design approaches
Develop integrated solutions for modernizing and coordinating independently designed applications across the enterprise
Code, integrate, and test components, middleware, and interfaces to enable seamless communication across systems
Determine how legacy systems, databases, and web interfaces integrate to meet emerging requirements
Adhere to technical and quality standards, review development work, and support definition of development guidelines and standards
Provide technical guidance and support for unit testing and ensure software meets specifications
Coordinate integration builds and support testing activities across environments
Participate in integration, quality assurance, regression, and performance testing efforts
Document architectural changes, integration plans, and maintain system/software architecture diagrams
Support software maintenance efforts as needed
Ensure applications are production‑ready with necessary libraries, configuration files, documentation, and approvals
Provide Tier III support, troubleshooting system issues, diagnosing root causes, and implementing resolutions
Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring to development teams
Create technical documentation, reports, and presentations for leadership
Support planning, forecasting, and improvement of systems and infrastructure including cloud‑based and on‑prem platforms
Apply security, confidentiality, and integrity standards within designed solutions
Support user or client engagements, prototype demonstrations, and solution presentations
Qualification
Required
Extensive experience with Angular and Spring Boot development
Strong background in technical leadership across complex software projects
Experience defining technical requirements, performing gap analyses, and translating business needs into technical designs
Experience with integration, modernization, and migration of enterprise applications
Strong understanding of web development, UI/UX principles, and modern architecture patterns
Experience coordinating builds, testing, deployment activities, and documentation
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex system issues
Experience mentoring development teams and providing technical guidance
Strong communication skills for interacting with business and technical stakeholders
Experience supporting secure, compliant, enterprise-grade solutions
