Responsibilities
Define, implement, and operationalize Service Level Indicators (SLIs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs) for critical platforms and data products
Design and build custom monitoring and alerting solutions to track reliability, latency, availability, and data freshness
Implement advanced observability using Grafana and Dynatrace, including dashboards, alerts, and anomaly detection
Operate and optimize systems running in AWS, with a focus on scalability, resiliency, and automation
Partner with development teams to embed reliability best practices into CI/CD pipelines and system design
Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
Drive reliability culture through documentation, runbooks, and engineering standards
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to SRE best practices
Qualification
Required
6+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Platform Engineering roles
Strong hands-on experience with Grafana (dashboards, alerting, visualization)
Strong hands-on experience with Dynatrace (APM, infrastructure monitoring, real user monitoring)
Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, EKS, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, etc.)
Proven experience implementing SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets
Experience building custom monitoring solutions (metrics, logs, traces, synthetic checks, data freshness checks)
Strong scripting or programming skills (Python, Go, Bash, or similar)
Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar)
Solid understanding of distributed systems, networking, and cloud architecture
Preferred
Background in banking / financial services environments
Experience with Databricks
Experience with Snowflake
Familiarity with data observability and data quality tooling
