Performing a variety of clinical tests
Perform various biochemical, microscopic, blood bank and/or bacteriological tests
Obtain data for use in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of disease
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related science from an accredited school required
Licensed under the NYS Dept of Education as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist required
Knowledge of hematology, chemistry, blood bank, and/or microbiology required
Must work weekends and holidays as scheduled
One year internship at an accredited hospital or one year practical experience required
Good oral and written communication skills essential
Preferred
Hospital experience desired
