Senior Account Manager

They are seeking a highly motivated Senior Account Manager to drive growth in the Tri-state Area by engaging with biotech and biopharma clients, managing the sales cycle, and building long-term relationships. This role involves representing ABclonal and developing customized solutions to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities
Identify and cultivate new business opportunities with biotech and biopharma companies through multi-channel outreach (email campaigns, industry events, onsite visits)
Manage inbound leads from initial inquiry to deal closure, maintaining accurate records in the CRM and nurturing a strong sales pipeline
Conduct field sales activities within your assigned territory to build and maintain customer relationships
Drive revenue by managing the full sales cycle: prospecting, quoting, negotiating, closing, and providing post-sales support
Develop customized solutions using ABclonal’s product portfolio to address specific customer needs
Work cross-functionally with Marketing and Product teams to align go-to-market strategies and share customer feedback
Leverage data and insights to improve sales processes and contribute to territory growth strategies
Provide regular sales reports and updates, ensuring accurate and up-to-date CRM entries
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or higher in a scientific discipline (Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or a related field preferred)
3–5 years of experience in technical sales, account management, or business development within the biotech/biopharma sector is highly desirable
Hands-on knowledge of antibodies and/or molecular enzyme technologies and applications
Self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, team-oriented environment and can navigate ambiguity with confidence
Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage executive-level stakeholders
Willingness to travel domestically within the Tri-state Area (mainly NY, NJ and PA) (20%-40%)
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
Transparent and collaborative communication style
