Responsibilities
Act as the functional lead for JD Edwards (E1) and Oracle Cloud SCM modules across the program
Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements
Translate business requirements into functional designs, user stories, and actionable tasks for technical teams
Lead and support solution design, configuration, testing (SIT/UAT), deployment, and post-go-live stabilization
Champion best practices and challenge the status quo to drive process improvement and system optimization
Communicate complex functional and technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Collaborate effectively in a global, matrixed, and remote environment
Support Agile / DevOps delivery models and participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and reviews
Ensure compliance with project governance, delivery standards, and regulated-environment requirements
Qualification
Required
Strong ability to set expectations and communicate clearly with peers, leadership, and business partners
Proven ability to break down complex problems into clear, executable tasks
Excellent customer service orientation with strong stakeholder management skills
Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work creatively and analytically in a fast-paced, complex environment
Demonstrated success working across global teams and multiple time zones
Strong negotiation, persuasion, and analytical capabilities
Ability to operate effectively within a matrix organization
Willingness and ability to question assumptions and drive continuous improvement
15+ years of experience with JD Edwards (E1) and/or Oracle Cloud SCM project delivery, including team leadership or direct management
12–15 years of experience in a large, complex technical or enterprise IT environment
Demonstrated experience with project management, delivery frameworks, and/or ITIL
Experience delivering solutions in regulated environments is required
ERP & SCM Expertise
Strong hands-on experience with JD Edwards (E1) implementations
Strong experience with Oracle Cloud SCM, including: Manufacturing, MRP / DRP, Procurement, Quality, Intercompany processing, Demand Planning, Inventory Management, Distribution & Logistics, Product Costing and Manufacturing Accounting, Quote-to-Cash processes
Experience working in Agile / DevOps delivery environments
Familiarity with modern ERP integration and cloud-based architectures
