Responsibilities
Prepare and submit medical claims to insurance companies in a timely and accurate manner
Complete charge entry and input all billing details into Nextech
Post insurance and patient payments with precision
Communicate with patients regarding outstanding balances and assist with collections
Investigate, appeal, and resolve claim denials
Maintain organized, compliant, and accurate billing records
Collaborate with internal staff to ensure proper documentation for billing
Qualification
Required
3-5 years of medical billing and office management experience
Proficiency with Nextech billing software
Strong understanding of medical billing and basic coding
Prior experience with charge entry and payment posting
Confidence and persistence when working with insurance companies
High accuracy, reliability, and professionalism
This role does not have any flexibility for remote capabilities. All hours are completed ONSITE in Edina
