Product Consultant

Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Consultation
Understand client goals, event operations, capacity models, and sales strategies across diverse event types (sports, concerts, festivals, performing arts, exhibitions)
Conduct tailored product demonstrations that highlight high-volume capabilities such as seat mapping, timed entry, dynamic pricing, bulk sales, and inventory management
Recommend product configurations that support large-scale ticket distribution, peak on-sale traffic, and operational complexity
Serve as a trusted advisor for clients navigating advanced ticketing features and revenue optimization opportunities
Go-To-Market Strategy
Collaborate with product marketing and leadership to define market positioning, segmentation, and messaging for the new vertical
Contribute to competitive analysis, packaging, and pricing strategies specific to vertical needs
Assist with pilot programs, early adopter onboarding, and feedback loops
Develop sales enablement materials such as: Vertical-specific demo flows, Use case playbooks, Objection-handling guides, ROI calculators tied to ticketing revenue models
Provide insight from early customer data to refine the GTM approach
Implementation & Onboarding
Guide customers through onboarding, including event creation workflows, seat map configuration, timed-entry logic, access control setup, and integrations with payment or marketing tools
Train client teams on processes built for high-volume traffic, such as: On-sale load management, Queueing systems, Fraud prevention, Data reporting and reconciliation
Ensure proper adoption of advanced features that enhance operational efficiency and revenue performance
Product Expertise & Support
Maintain deep knowledge of the ticketing platform, including: High-demand on-sale behavior, API usage for external systems, Access control and scanning flows, Reporting and settlement workflows
Troubleshoot complex client issues and collaborate when needed
Provide structured feedback from customer interactions to improve product capabilities and scalability
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with sales during discovery to identify customer needs, particularly around large events, multi-venue organizations, or specialized ticketing formats
Work with finance, operations, and other departments to align internal processes and needs
Translate customer and market insights into actionable recommendations for product management
Partner with marketing to create vertical-specific collateral, case studies, and thought leadership

Required

Expertise in SaaS platforms or complex enterprise tools
Excellent project management, communication, presentation, and facilitation abilities
Understanding of ticketing concepts such as: Inventory structures, Seat mapping, Timed entry / capacity slots, On-sale demand management, Access control and scanning, Revenue reporting
Ability to advise on workflows for events handling millions of tickets across thousands of events
Positioning and messaging development
Value proposition creation using frameworks like JTBD or customer value mapping
Sales enablement content creation
Pilot program design, execution, and success evaluation

Preferred

Experience in the ticketing, live entertainment, or events industry
Background in consulting, product management, customer success, or solution engineering
Familiarity with CRM, marketing automation, analytics tools, or third-party tech ecosystem integrations
Experience working with large venue clients, promoters, or festivals
