The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a motivated and talented Maintenance Repairman 1 for the Pinchot Forest District. In this seasonal role, you will provide maintenance and repair services to equipment and infrastructure, engage in outdoor work, and support wildfire suppression efforts.

Responsibilities

Providing trade services related to the repair and preventative maintenance of equipment and infrastructure within the Pinchot Forest District
Mowing grass with lawn care equipment
Installing and maintaining signs and gates
Setting up kiosks throughout the Pinchot State Forest
Constructing and maintaining trails and roads
Clearing snow from sidewalks and parking lots using basic snow removal tools
Supporting wildfire suppression efforts by maintaining equipment and participating in related activities

Qualification

General maintenancePennsylvania Class C LicenseBuilding tradesElectrical tradesMechanical trades

Required

Two years of experience in general maintenance work which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades
Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities
This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License
You must meet the PA residency requirement
You must be able to perform essential job functions
