Hays is seeking a Business Analyst for a 6-month renewable contract, preferably local to Vienna, VA. The Business Analyst will evaluate operational efficiency, analyze business processes, gather stakeholder requirements, and coordinate solution design and integration across systems and teams.

Responsibilities

Evaluate operational efficiency and analyze business processes

Gather, document, and translate stakeholder requirements into technical & business specifications

Coordinate solution design and integration across systems, applications, and teams

Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis to support improvements

Perform root cause analysis and recommend workflow, system, and control enhancements

Lead or support testing activities: test planning, test case creation, execution, and reporting

Collaborate with business units, ISD partners, and external vendors

Support implementation of new products, services, and operational changes

Monitor system performance and identify areas for optimization

Research emerging technologies to support strategic initiatives

Assist with rollout, adoption, and change management for new capabilities
